"One of the great strengths of this Archdiocese is the strong community initiative in so many works of ministry. I have followed with interest the work of the group of Lay Catholics who have come together in response to the possibility of purchasing and operating a Catholic Camp and Conference Center in Wasilla. This center will provide a great resource to the Catholic Church as well as the broader community. I welcome their efforts and commend them for the hard work they have undertaken. My hope is that this undertaking will be a source of blessing and a place where individuals can have a deeper experience of Gospel living”.
